All you need to do for x86 is either take Overbryns original x86 plugin and update for 7. The only changes I made were the 7.8 / 7.9 changes. Have you made any more changes except the 3 changes from 7.8 to 7.9 at all? Is it possible to tweak you r plugin to work for x86 with 7.9? Its wont upgrade since 3 or 4 new revisions.ĭont suppose you have seen the same issue at all? I've noticed that I have been unable to upgrade my service from version 7.9.0 revision 1402065712 I've attached my modified plg file if it would save you time, or if you have no time, if it might stop people asking for it from you!Īs always, your plugins are very much appreciated! In your plugin I've simply switched 7.8 for 7.9 and it works a treat!Īlso, I've moved onto v6 and as such using a lot of your 圆4 plugins ( as always, very much appreciated!!) You didn't have a LMS 圆4 plugin, but as v6 unRAID has perl included it was just a simple comment out / remove line for the perl parts and, as I said above, its working a treat! Not sure if your still maintaining this plugin, or if life has very inconsiderately taken president over unRAID plugins but if you were I've made a few tweaks which if you get a spare 2 min might want to look into?Īccording to I (think) the people who are still developing LMS have decided to leave 7.7 as official and stable, 7.8 as unofficial but stable and 7.9 as unofficial and unstable. So i have to turn off all other installs and see if it's installed? Confirm this by making lms the only plugin to be installed during a reboot and see if it then automatically installs okay and shows on the settings page without you having to perform a manual reinstall after reboot. I would look at what other plugins are being installed and in what order when the system is rebooted. If it is not showing in the settings page upon a reboot but it /is/ showing on settings page once you have performed a manual installation after a reboot, then I must assume there is something interfering with the automatic plg install during a reboot which does not occur when you install manually afterwards. Logitech Media Server script needs a new maintainer. it just doesnt show on unraid settings page, nor does it start. Logitech Media Server runs on Windows, Mac. Maybe there's someone brave enough to give it a go and let me know how they get on. I got a bit carried away and it's pretty much a complete rewrite so I've probably introduced a ton of bugs. so i have to reinstall although it said data would persist on reboot. Logitech Media Server is a our powerful and free that will power any Squeezebox or Transporter and any software MP3 player on your network. Alex + others, here's my take on a plugin for Logitech Media Server. the plugin is gone on the settings page of unraid. This accounts for over 100 channels to start, including Hulu, YouTube, Netflix, Comedy Central, and all. ![]() ![]() Installed perfectly, working perfectly except. However, PlayOn focuses more on providing a diversity of free and paid streaming services. Since nobody mentioned this solution - it might be worth to consider for some people.Overbuyrn, i'm using your up to date plugin for LMS However, there is a lot of guides at internet and youtube on how to use/install Logitech Media Server software. This solution demand some interest reading up on how to set up a Logitech Media Server and install software on a pc/NAS. This might not work for you since you will have to install software on a PC, MAC, Rasberry Pi (mini pc), or a NAS server and you will need to have the software running to continue playing Spotify on your Logitech device. If you have several squeezebox/Logitech devices or for some reason just want to continue to use your current Logitech device, it's possible to install the Logitech Media Server and use a software plugin called Spotty - then you can continue to play your music from Spotify on you Logitech devices and other devices. Got this message from Spotify too and were ready to drop my Spotify account - however I mainly use the Logitech Media Server to control all my Logitech devices via mobile apps both at Android, IOS devices and Windows. Since Logitech dropped the Squeezebox devices from thier product list - the Logitech Media server software is still developed and supported and I was glad to see that a new plugin called Spotty were devloped to continue to support Spotify when using the Logitech Media Server. Spotify Support Squeezebox soon be removed?.
